As per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) have been a source of widespread public concern, the EPA is anticipated to issue the first federal regulatory limits for six specific PFAS compounds in drinking water and has expanded TSCA retroactively to include PFAS. This webinar will review a wide range of impacted industries along with the challenges of looking for PFAS at every step in the supply chain. Industrial standards are actively evolving to address these emerging concerns, with standard techniques only established thus far for specific PFAS compounds in drinking water and soil. Significant scientific challenges exist for accurate quantification of PFAS in products or the potential for exposure to end users or the environment.
